A. Personal Accident Insurance

• All registered participants are covered by a group personal accident insurance policy for the duration of the race event (bib collection day through race day inclusive).
• Coverage includes: Accidental Death (RM 50,000), Permanent Disablement (up to RM 50,000), and Medical Expenses from race-related accidents (up to RM 5,000).
• Insurance is provided by the event organiser through a licensed Malaysian insurer and is fully included in the registration fee — no additional premium required.
• Coverage applies only within the event venue, official race route, and designated warm-up/cool-down zones.
• Pre-existing medical conditions, illnesses unrelated to the event, and injuries sustained outside the official event period are excluded from coverage.
• Participants must present their race bib at any first-aid station to activate insurance-related claim eligibility.
• All claims must be submitted within 30 days of the incident to the organiser's designated insurance representative.

B. Medical & Health Declaration

• By registering, participants declare they are physically fit and medically capable of completing their selected race distance.
• Participants with known heart conditions, hypertension, diabetes, or chronic illness must obtain written clearance from a licensed medical practitioner prior to race day and present it upon request.
• The organiser reserves the right to withdraw any participant from the race on health and safety grounds, at any point during the event, without liability for refund.
• Mandatory medical check-in at the start line applies to all participants aged 60 years and above.
• Participants are responsible for their own hydration and nutrition during the race.

C. Registration & Payment Policy

• Registration fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable once payment has been confirmed.
• Race packs (bib, t-shirt, timing chip) must be collected in-person at designated collection points; postal delivery is not available.
• Participants must present their IC/Passport for identity verification during race pack collection.
• T-shirt sizes and colours are subject to availability; the organiser reserves the right to substitute with the closest available alternative without notice.
• Muslimah jersey orders are final upon confirmation and cannot be exchanged for a standard jersey after payment.
• Late registration (after the closing date) is subject to a 10% surcharge and availability.

D. Rules of Participation

• Participants must start and finish at the officially designated points for their category; cutting the route will result in immediate disqualification.
• Race bibs must be worn and visible at all times during the run.
• Transfer of bib numbers between participants is strictly prohibited and results in disqualification of both parties involved.
• Participants must comply with all traffic, safety, and crowd-control instructions issued by marshals, race officials, and police at all times.
• Headphones/earphones are strongly discouraged for safety reasons; bone-conduction headphones are permitted.
• Participants who withdraw from the race mid-route must immediately notify the nearest marshal for safe escort off the course.
• Pets, bicycles, inline skates, prams, and wheeled devices are not permitted on the race route.
• Littering on the course is prohibited; participants must use designated waste stations.

E. Liability Waiver

• Participants take part entirely at their own risk. The organiser, co-organisers, sponsors, volunteers, and partners shall not be held liable for any loss, personal injury, illness, or damage to property during the event, except where caused by gross negligence.
• The organiser reserves the right to postpone, modify, shorten, or cancel the event due to adverse weather, force majeure, government directive, or circumstances beyond its control. In such cases, no cash refunds will be issued, though credits or deferral to a future edition may be offered at the organiser's discretion.
• By registering, participants irrevocably consent to their name, image, likeness, and race results being used for official event publicity, photography, video production, and social media without additional compensation or approval.

F. Privacy & Data Protection

• Personal data collected during registration is used exclusively for race administration, insurance processing, timing services, and official event communications.
• All data is handled strictly in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
• Data will not be sold or shared with any commercial third parties outside of insurance and timing service providers required for event delivery.
• Participants may request access to or deletion of their personal data by contacting the organiser within 30 days after the event.
