NEXUS CUP 2025

A. Eligibility

• Participants must be aged 13 years and above. Players under 18 require a signed parental/guardian consent form submitted before event day.
• All participants must be registered with valid in-game account IDs that are at least 30 days old.
• Participants cannot hold active competitive bans from the game publisher during the event period.
• Players may only register in one game title per registration. Dual registration across titles requires a separate form.

B. Tournament Rules

• All matches will be conducted under official tournament settings as specified in the rulebook shared to registered players upon confirmation.
• Unsportsmanlike conduct, verbal abuse, cheating, or use of hacks/exploits will result in immediate disqualification and potential ban from future events.
• Match results are final once confirmed by the designated referee. Disputes must be raised within 10 minutes of match conclusion.
• Teams/players must check in at their assigned station at least 15 minutes before scheduled match time; no-shows forfeit the match.
• Coaching from outside the booth is not permitted during live match play.

C. Registration & Refund Policy

• Registration fees are non-refundable once payment is confirmed.
• Slot transfers to another player are permitted up to 7 days before the event with written notice to the organiser.
• Event cancellation due to force majeure may result in credit or deferral; refunds are not guaranteed.
• All registrations are subject to organiser approval and slot availability.

D. Equipment & Venue

• The organiser provides gaming PCs/consoles for relevant categories. Peripherals (mouse, keyboard, headset) may be brought by participants subject to inspection.
• Participants are responsible for their own personal property. The organiser is not liable for lost or damaged items.
• Participants must comply with venue rules including dress code, food/drink restrictions in the gaming area, and curfew times.

E. Media & Intellectual Property

• By registering, participants consent to their gamer tag, image, in-game footage, and match highlights being broadcast, streamed, or used for event promotion without additional compensation.
• Organiser retains rights to all event-produced media.

F. Privacy (PDPA 2010)

• Personal data is collected solely for event administration and is handled in compliance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
• Data will not be sold or shared with third parties beyond what is required for event delivery.
